ECL OUTPUT OSCILLATORS

Two ranges of ECL output oscillators available:

HE range for low jitter (<1ps) applications
HEL range for standard, lower-cost applications
An explanation of the differences between the two ranges are detailed at the bottom of this page.

Supply Voltage
Both ranges have options of power supply voltages of -3.3V, -4.5V, -5.0V or -5.2 Volts.

HE RANGE - low jitter (<1ps)
(Utilizing Inverted-Mesa crystal, fundamental mode)

HE Range for low jitter (<1ps) applications

The 'HE' range uses only fundamental-mode crystals (inverted-mesa) where no multipliers or phase lock loop techniques are used. Therefore this range provides stable and clean 10KH differential ECL signals with jitter as low as 1ps at 155.25MHz.

HEL Range for standard, lower-cost applications

The 'HEL' range utilises phase lock loop techniques and provides a low-cost alternative for non jitter-sensitive applications.
