X42 crystals are produced
with gold plated, ceramic packages and a seam-welded metal lids.
Due to the design of their construction the crystals have high
shock and vibration resistance and exhibit exceptionally good
ageing characteristics. The crystals may be produced with close
tolerances. The design has been produced specifically for hand-held
portable communications equipment such as Bluetooth, GPS and
PDAs.
